I recently stayed at Budget Inn Patricia Hotel for a weekend getaway in Vancouver. The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated being able to sleep in after a long journey without being disturbed. The hotel has character and charm, perfect for a post-Canucks game retreat. It is located in East Hastings, offering a glimpse of the real side of Vancouver.While the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the proximity of the beds was a bit awkward for a mother-son duo like us. The location, known for its drug activity, may not suit all travelers. I opted for a room upgrade for a view of the distant mountains, but the street scene below was a downside.the Budget Inn Patricia Hotel provided a decent stay, with good breakfast options and affordable vending machine snacks. The hotel's intimate guest experience is commendable, though the surrounding area may not be ideal for all guests.
